Not many online slots are based around vending machines but there are some which are brave enough to break that constrictive mould and stride out their own. Sweet Party is a brand new game from Playtech and while it isn’t really striding anywhere, it’s a nice-looking slot which provides a simple playing experience. Not only that – it also has a progressive jackpot for fans of the big bucks.
Sweet Party is a five reel game which doesn’t have any paylines in the usual manner which makes it more of an arcade slot in our opinion. As you can see from the screenshot above, all the action takes place inside the veining machine which is set against a backdrop of blue skies and green fields. The symbols are a range of sweets such as Gummi Bears and Jelly Beans but the highest paying is the red and white striped one.
How It Works
Clicking the ‘Play’ button on the right hand side will get you on your way and your task is to match five or more symbols to win prizes. The symbols can be lined up vertically and/or horizontally but not diagonally and of course the more you can match, the bigger the prize. Sixteen or more of any one symbol will pay the highest prize.
In that respect it’s a very simple game but of course there’s also the progressive jackpot. You can see the current total to the right of the vending machine.
The only way to win that jackpot is to land eight or more of the red and white gobstoppers but you should also note that your stake will determine what percentage of that prize you will win as follows:

- £2 – 20%
- £5 – 50%

Verdict
This is a charming game with lots of light and colour, not to mention some cute sound effects. There’s nothing complicated about it but the minimum £1.00 bet might put off the low rollers.
