Brand new from Net Entertainment is the Steam Tower online slot which combines a Victorian design with fantasy adventure. It looks as good as one would expect from NetEnt and joins a small but thankfully growing number of steampunk titles. Steampunk Heroes from Microgaming is one of our particular favourites. Here our top-hatted protagonist must rescue a princess from the eponymous tower.
Steam Tower is a five reel slot with three rows and fifteen fixed paylines; the main screen is set up nicely with our hero on the left hand side, grappling gun at the ready. The reels are inlaid against the tower itself, at the top of which the princess is waiting.
There are four high value symbols in the base game – the top of the tower, the princess, our hero and the golden eye of the red-scaled dragon. J, Q, K and A are the lower values but accessorised with a selection of industrial cogs.
There are two wild symbols – the grappling gun and the hero. The hero is stacked on the reels and also the kwy to the bonus feature.

This is more than just another free spins round and it’s triggered by landing one or more of the stacked wilds covering all positions on a reel. Initially you will receive ten free spins and climb to the first floor of the tower.
The aim during the spins is to climb up the tower as far as possible for bigger prizes, bigger multipliers and ultimately to rescue the girl on the 16th floor.
