Ancient Egypt is a fertile development ground for those companies which produce online slot machines; it’s probably the most popular theme and we’ve played and reviewed dozens over the years. Queen Of The Nile 2 is from Aristocrat Leisure and there’s no surprises for knowing that it’s the sequel to Queen Of The Nile. How does this match up to all the other Egyptian-themed slots? Keep reading to find out.
Queen Of The Nile 2 is a five reel slot with three rows and up to twenty five paylines; we like the background which is formed by a realistic-looking wall filled with hieroglyphics.
Anyone familiar with this particular theme will recognise the symbols which include for example a golden scarab beetle, the Eye Of Ra and a gold ring. 9, 10, J. Q. K and A are the lower value symbols.
Cleopatra herself is wild and will substitute for all symbols except the scatter; if she contributes to a winning payline that win will be doubled. The pyramid represents the scatter symbol and is the key to the main feature.
Landing three or more of the pyramid scatter symbols anywhere in view will trigger this feature and you will then get to choose the number of spins and multipliers as follows:
- Five free spins + 10x multiplier
- Ten free spins + 5x multiplier
- Fifteen free spins + 3x multiplier
- Twenty free spins + 2x multiplier
Choose your preferred option and then hope for the best as the reel spins get underway. More spins can be won by landing three+ more scatter symbols during this round.
Each win can be gambled by pressing the ‘Gamble’ button after that spin. Try and double or quadruple your win by guessing the correct colour or suit of the next card drawn. There’s a maximum of five correct guesses.
Queen Of The Nile 2 Online Slot Playing Tips
This may not be particularly scientific but we tend to pick the best number of free spins based on multiplying the number of spins by the multiplier. For example:
- Five spins x 10 multiplier = 50
- Fifteen spins x 3x multiplier =45
Therefore five spins represents better value. We can’t claim this is statistically valid but it’s the method we employ.
This slot is something of a veteran now but it’s still playable enough with the selectable free spins and the gamble feature. Unfortunately Aristocrat do not seem to publish their games’ RTPs.
