It’s not always necessary to spend your time on slots with myriad different bonus features and paylines beyond counting; sometimes it’s enough to go back to basics and enjoy the charms of one of the more minimal online slots out there. If Jungle Boogie can be described in just one word, ‘minimal’ is certainly appropriate.
This three reel Playtech slot is quite possible the simplest game we’ve ever played so if it looks like we’re trying to pad this review out a little then that’s probably the case. Not only does it have just three reels (not unusual of course), there’s only one payline and that’s all that is visible. Essentially all you need to do is load the game up and press the spin button.
You can set your wager level however and the small button with the + and – in the bottom left hand corner is the bet amount. There are three different wager levels and this is adjusted by pressing the ‘Bet One’ underneath the reels. So $1 on the button means options of $1, $2 or $3 total bets. There’s a betting range of between $0.01 – $15.00.
So what else is there to say? Well the name Jungle Boogie would suggest that this is a animal-themed game and that is indeed the case; there are just six different creature symbols and these are the fish, cheetah, monkey, parrot, gorilla and tiger. The lush, green background just adds to the jungly atmosphere.
The fish can win you small amounts just by appearing on reels one, two and three, two and three or just three but the big money is won by landing three tigers on the one payline; that wins you a prize of 4000x your bet amount.
Verdict
If you’re looking to play the simplest of simple slots then this is the game for you; just set your bet and away you go – no more decisions to make. Try it, you just might like it!
