Dropz is a six reel slot with an initial 729 ways to win and you’ll see that half of the playing area consists of chocolate pieces, unlockable as we shall shortly find out. Avalanche Gameplay & Multipliers
The basic gameplay sees symbols in a winning combo disappear and be replaced by more falling in from above – any adjacent bits of chocolate will crumble away to reveal an extra position and perhaps also one of the feature symbols.
Selected pairs of symbols (shown above the reels) will also disappear and trigger an avalanche; each pair will increment the meter and once all three places are full the multiplier increases. A new pair then replaces the original duo.
When there are no more avalanches the reel set reverts to the original state, as does the multiplier.
Chocolate Bonuses
Hidden beneath those chocolate pieces are various features, uncovered by making an adjacent match:
- Level Up – the golden arrow adds an extra layer to the top of the playing area, increasing the number of paylines; there are a maximum of 262,144 lines possible.
- Dropz – the number (1 or 2) within the circular arrow indicates the number of extra spins (Dropz) after the avalanche ends.
- Wild/Locked Wild – well we all know what a wild does but the locked wild will remain in position for three wins.
- Bonus – the ‘B’ helps towards triggering the free spins.
When there are no more wins all chocolate positions are recovered and the number of rows drops back down to the original level.
