Beastwood is a scary forest in some fantasy land and it’s the setting for this online slot from Quickspin Gaming; the main character is coincidentally also called Mr Beastwood and it’s his unenviable task to rid the forest of monsters while helping us win never-ending combos, multipliers and free spins.
Beastwood starts out with three reels and four rows and the action takes place in the Mr Beastwood’s gloomy cabin, strewn with weapons and trophies of his hunting shenanigans.

Quickspin have used this gameplay mechanic before in Wins of Fortune and Wild Chase: Tokyo Go (where it was called the Respin Feature) and each win activates it. Winning symbols are locked in place and an extra reel is added – any symbols or wilds adding to the combo will also lock and add an extra reel and so the process continues. There’s no limit to the number of extra reels which can be added but they’ll shrink down to three again on the first losing spin.
Every third reel comes with a 2x multiplier above and these accumulated values will be applied to any wins across those reels.
