Alchemy was the short-lived historical belief that base metals could somehow be turned into gold – it’s failure seems pretty obvious now but one unexpected but positive outcome was the number of online slot machines using alchemy as their theme. A familiar alchemical lab sets the scene for the five reels in play here and there are vials of liquid, spinning cogs, tubes and other machinery which give the impression that this is a more modern attempt at idiocy than previous efforts. The basic way to create wins in Wildchemy is to land vertical or horizontal lines of at least three matching symbols anywhere on the reels – those symbols will then disappear and be replaced by more falling in from above to potentially continue the wins.
The five high value symbols are our mad-looking alchemist, some sort of mechanical helper, a castle and mortar, a red pendant and a set of scales; five vials of liquid in various colours and shapes make up the lower values. The big ‘W’ is wild and the pink bottles are the scatter symbols.
