Net Entertainment always come seem to come up trumps with their online slot machines and it seems to make no difference what the theme of that particular slot is; this latest creation is called Wild Witches and it’s a humourous look at a selection of glamourous witches and the potions they’re cooking up.
Wild Witches is a five reel and twenty payline slot and the reels are placed against a window frame separated and surrounded by vines and gnarled wood. There’s a gloomy feel to the game which is in contrast to the brightly-attired witches – these ladies are not haggard crones.
All the symbols are with-related and so from low to high value we have an eyeball floating in a a jar, a potion labelled with a skull, a purple-hatted rat, a tree with a face and a toad clutching a red object.
There are six witches and we can differentiate them by by the colour of their outfits as follows – pink, purple, red, blue, green and black. There’s also a standard skull wild and a golden skull wild plus a bubbling cauldron scatter symbol which activates the bonus feature.
Bonus Feature
Free Spins
To trigger the free spins round you’ll need to land three, four or five of the cauldron scatter symbols anywhere on the reels in standard game play. This will win you ten, twenty or thirty free spins respectively.
Any prizes you win in the this round will be subject to a generous 3x multiplier and it’s also possible to win more spins by landing three or more scatter symbols.
Golden Wild
There’s a standard wild symbol as you would expect in Wild Witches but there’s also a Golden Wild which pops up on the third reel. The standard wild will offer a 2x multiplier if it’s included in a winning combo but the Golden Wild will give you 4x the prize.
Verdict
The graphics and animations are, as you would expect from Net Entertainment, absolutely top drawer. The soundtrack has a definite ghostly quality to it with some appropriate effects when you land a win. This is well worth a go.
