The dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago and so we know this new online slot from NextGen Gaming is based before that event. It’s called Volcano Eruption and the title explains the theme pretty well; the game and the bonus features revolve around the possibility of a devastating eruption of lava and molten rock from a huge mountain.
Volcano Eruption is a five reel slot with three rows and up to twenty five paylines. The design of the game is great with the large volcano looming in the background; there’s a large lake in the foreground with flammable-looking undergrowth in the forefront.
The higher value symbols include some fruit, an orangutan, a colourful tropical bird and some sort of dinosaur; lower values are the standard 9, 10, J, Q, K and A – all a little bit scorched.
The wild symbol is represented by the erupting volcano which only appears on reels two, three and four and substitutes for all other symbols. It’s also the key to the main feature.
