We’ve reviewed a fair few online slot machines themed on mining over the years and TNT Tumble is one more to add to the list; it’s developed by Relax Gaming and it offers players a chance to win three different free spin modes by drilling in the right places.
TNT Tumble plays out on the gameplay area shown able and the aim is to create winning matches of at least three symbols horizontally or vertically – there are no cluster pays here. Winning symbols (except wilds) will then disappear to be replaced by more falling in from above. This particular mine seems to be located in an Alpine valley where snow-covered peaks fill the sky in the distance.
The six symbol here are all related to the theme and include gems in red, orange, green and blue along with nuggets of silver and gold. The drill is wild and it will substitute for all other symbols to help form winning combos – it often appears stacked and will only disappear when it hits the bottom of the mine.
Dark Blocks & Free Spins
Matches made adjacent to the dark blocks at the bottom will destroy those blocks so that the reel area increases in size and heads downwards; contact with the sticks of dynamite will destroy all blocks in that particular row and when all dark blocks are gone the free spins are awarded- there are three modes to choose from:
- Option One (very high volatility) – purple blocks will reveal a 1x, 2x or 3x multiplier for any wins.
- Option Two – (high volatility) purple blocks will reveal a 1x, 2x or 3x multiplier for any wins and blue blocks will award an extra spin.
- Option Three – (medium volatility) blue blocks will award up to 10 extra spins.
In all three modes, clearing a row of dark blocks will award an extra free spins.
TNT Tumble is a clever and engaging addition to the various mining slots out there and it brings us some themed features we’ve not seen before; the tumbling symbols and attractive gameplay should keep us coming back for more.
