Super Nudge 6000 may be the most realistic-looking online slot machine we’ve ever seen; it’s no surprise that Net Entertainment are the developers behind this game – they consistently produce slots with some of the highest quality graphics around.
Super Nudge 6000 is a three reel slot with just five paylines but as soon as you start playing you know that it’s far more than a bog-standard Vegas-style game. Check out the background first and you’ll find yourself inside a 1950s-style American diner; watch closely and you’ll see traffic rumble past the window on the right hand side.
How It Works
As you can see from the screenshot above the machine is split into two parts and separated by the information ticker in the centre. The bottom portion is where the main game takes place and you can choose bet levels of €1, €2 or €10 which offer proportionately different prizes.
Symbols in this main game are oranges, lemons, grapes, melons, bells and dollar signs. You spin this just like a basic slot and hope that one of the five paylines will produce a winning combination.
When you do win you have two choices; you can either collect the winnings by clicking the ‘Collect’ and continue to play or you can head to the top screen for a gambling opportunity.
The reels here are a little different and include pears, cherries, grapes, melons, sevens and golden crowns. If you choose to play these reels you will receive one, two or three nudges depending on the size of your win in the main game. Nudges are automatic when you spin the reels and the game will find the highest possible win for you if there’s one available. Three crowns will win you between 300 and 6000 coins.
Your starting credits are shown in the ‘Supermeter’ box and each time you win that amount will increase and you nudges will be reset; each spin cost is debited from that amount and when that reaches zero you return to the main game with nothing. The trick is to know when to collect you winnings.
Verdict
This a superbly-designed game which should appeal to those who like basic Vegas-style three reel slots but it also has enough to attract the bonus feature fans. There’s no background music, only the sound of the spinning reels and sometimes that’s no bad thing.
