- but why not try one of these?
If you’ve already played Pub Crawlers from Rival Gaming then you may well wonder what can be different about another pub-themed online slot. Well, while Pub Crawlers was based firmly in some sort of east end boozer, Roll Out The Barrels takes us on a trip to Germany where we can sample pretzels, bratwurst and lederhosen.
Roll Out The Barrels plays out over five reels and up to fifteen paylines. Everything about this game oozes a Germanic influence and there’s nothing wrong with that, the Germans make some of the best beer on the planet.
There’s a great range of teutonic symbols here and these include pretzels, a squeezebox, a metal tankard, a cuckoo clock, a beer stein, sausages and sauerkraut, a pair of lederhosen, a traditional hat and a moustachioed drinker.
The beer barrel is wild and will expand to fill the entire reel when it’s possible to form any wins; there are two scatter symbols – the alphorn and the barmaid – who each activate their own bonus games.
Landing three or more of the barmaid scatter symbols anywhere on the reels will trigger this mini-game. You will be faced with a bar scene and all you have to do is select one of the four casks when prompted to win a coin prize.
Of course there’s some good old free spins available here and these are triggered by landing three or more of the alphorn scatters anywhere on the reels. You will receive the following:
- Three alphorns – 10 free spins
- Four alphorns – 20 free spins
- Five alphorns – 50 free spins
All wins during this feature will be multiplied by 3x and it’s possible to re-trigger it by landing three+ more alphorns. The Barmaid Bonus can also be triggered from within this round.
Rival Gaming slots are very similar in design and they’re all generally very payable so the only way to differentiate is by the theme. This one’s quite fun and imaginative and worth a go, but perhaps not for too long, especially because of it’s low, low RTP of 92.74%.
