Kitty Cash has long been one of 1×2 Gaming’s more popular online slots and where there’s a cat-themed game, clearly there needs to be a dog-themed one too. Puppy Payday is the name of this particular release and there are certainly similarities with Kitty Cash but at least there’s something for canine enthusiasts here.
Puppy Payday is a five reel slot with three rows and up to nine paylines; it shares it’s design with a number of other 1×2 Gaming slots in it’s simplicity but that shouldn’t detract from what is some engaging gameplay and cute animal characters.
All the symbols are related to the theme and include eight dogs of various types; our dog knowledge is a bit limited but there’s a white shaggy one, perhaps a bulldog, maybe a red setter – you get the idea. Finally there’s a tasty-looking bone and a kennel to make up the numbers.
The wild symbol is a gold disc containing a bone and it substitutes for any other icon except the scatter; it also multiplies by 2x any win to which it contributes. The scatter is a blue dog bowl full of food and it activates the main feature.

This is the only bonus game and it’s triggered by landing three or more of the dog bowl scatter symbols anywhere in view for which you will receive the following:

Verdict
Puppy Payday certainly sticks to the Kitty Cash formula but if it’s a successful one why change it? The animals are cute, especially if dogs are your thing, and the RTP is a nice high 97.23%.
