The Mexican Day of the Dead has been the inspiration for several online slot machines we’ve reviewed in the past and here we have one more to add to that list – it’s called Pay of the Dead, it’s developed by Gaming Realms/Slingo and you can find out all about it below.
Pay of the Dead is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty fixed paylines; those reels are topped with appropriate but colourful flowers and they spin on the walls of a whitewashed building on which leans a traditional guitar.
The five higher value symbols are all gaudily-decorated skulls and they are complemented by J, Q, K and A formed from old bones.
The wild symbol is the head of a Chihuahua and it will substitute for all others to help form winning matches except for the red, blue and mixed candle scatter icons. The wild will also apply a multiplier of 2x, 3x or 10x depending on your luck.

Verdict
Pay of the Dead may sound like a tax form for the recently departed but in fact it’s a very entertaining slot with a clever feature and some cheerful, top notch graphics; it’s quite expensive to respin the final reel but that choice is yours and depends how keen you are to trigger the free spins.
