Oriental Fortune is a five reel slot with three rows and just five paylines. It’s one of Microgaming’s older games and, as it features no bonus features, is probably one for the purists. There’s no backdrop to the rather basic reels so the theme is given it’s identity by the symbols and by the plinky Chinese music which accompanies your gameplay.
Those symbols include a blue-hued image of a temple, a Koi carp, a green & red dragon, a golden dragon and the Oriental Fortune logo. The latter is the highest paying and is worth 5000x your line stake for five on an active payline. 10, J, Q and K make up the lower value symbols.
The Geisha girl is the wild symbol and she substitutes for all other symbols – there is no scatter and there are no extra features to trigger.

You get what you’re given with these older Microgaming slots and it’s fair to say that Oriental Fortune won’t be troubling our top five list any time soon. However we like the laid back soundtrack and we finished with a positive balance so it can’t be all bad. There’s an RTP of 96.07%.
