If there’s any sort of top ten of children’s stories then the tale of Little Red Riding Hood must rank pretty highly – it’s all about our red-clad heroine and her trials and tribulations with a hungry wolf in the forest. It’s called Little Red, it’s developed by NextGen Gaming and it features some quirky graphics along with a couple of interesting bonus features.
Little Red is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty five fixed paylines; the reels are transparent and through them we can see a river running between the trees. Little Red Riding Hood is standing on the left bank, looking for a way to cross.
All the symbols are related to theme and include Little Red herself, the wolf, granny, the picnic basket, granny’s bed, a butterfly, an axe, a pie, some false teeth and a bunch of flowers.

“To Granny’s” Feature
Throughout the base game your task is to get Little Red across the river in five steps. When she finally makes it you will play a picking round called “Into The Woods” in which you must choose your paths through the woods to win money. Make it to Granny’s house and you’ll get to play the free spins round – find the wolf and it’s game over.
Verdict
We always like a slot with a guaranteed bonus feature and that’s what we’ve got here because our heroine will always eventually reach the other side of the river. There’s some lovely graphics to appreciate along with various extra games and an RTP of 94.90%.
