It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s Halloween, there’s always a good reason to check out an online slot such as Hexbreaker 2; it’s the sequel to IGT’s popular Hexbreaker and it’s theme is one of bad luck – not what you need when playing a game such as this. Hexbreaker 2 is a five reel slot with variable rows and it uses IGT’s Multiway Xtra payline structure which means that winning combinations can be formed as long as there are matching symbols starting from the left hand side or the right hand side – wins can be formed in both directions here.
There’s an appropriately gloomy vibe to the game and the colour scheme features lots of reds, purples and blacks. The background music is a little more cheery and there are lots of sound effects associated with the various symbols.
The high value symbols are the Hexbreaker logo, a black cat, the number ’13’, a crow and a broken mirror; J, Q, and K make up the lower values.
The wild symbol is a big ‘Wild’ and it appears only on reels two, three and four, substituting for all others except the Jinx scatter symbol. The bonus symbol is the lucky horseshoe.

There’s a creepy atmosphere to Hexbreaker 2 which is generated by the dark colours and background music – very appropriate if it’s currently Halloween. We like the opportunity to win both ways and the simple-to-trigger free spins round. The RTP is 92.99% – 96.45%.
