Here we have one more, it’s called Gold Strike and it’s developed by Games Warehouse. The gameplay and bonuses are interesting and even the gamble feature is a little different.
Gold Strike is a five reel slot with twenty fixed paylines and it’s all set against the backdrop of desert scenery at sunset. There are just seven main symbols and five of these are 10, J, Q, K and A. A pair of pistols and the Gold Strike logo are the only themed symbols.
There are two special symbols including a Sheriff’s badge wild and a bonus comprising several sticks of dynamite.
Bonus Features
Lock ‘N’ Load Feature
This is a feature which occurs in the base game; each time you land a winning combo, those symbols will freeze in place and you will be awarded a respin. If any more of that particular symbol lands in the respin, it too will be frozen and a respin will awarded. This continues until no more matching symbols land on the reels.
The payouts will then be evaluated with gunshot sounds punctuating each win.
Dynamite Bonus
This is the main feature and you will need to land at least six of the dynamite scatter symbols anywhere in view to trigger it. They appear stacked on the reels so this is not as tough as it might seem.
You will now get to play the Tin Can Alley game in which you must pick one of the tin cans to shoot for a case prize. If you are lucky enough to find the Lucky Strike nugget you will get to play two further rounds:
- Lucky Strike Bonus – pick one of the 25 squares on the map and try to find one of the Lucky Strike symbols for a cash win.
- Gold Mine – choose one of the three detonators to blow up the boards on one mine entrance. You will be rewarded with a cash prize based on you win.
Gamble Feature
Use the ‘Gamble’ button below the reels to set up gambling automatically. This enters you into the gambling feature at a certain win level.
Here you can select your own wager depending on your aversion to risk. For example choose the ‘2-9’ wager for a 1.5x win or try and land the Ace for a 12x win. Clicking the green ‘Gamble’ button will start the ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ style process.

Verdict
The graphics are perhaps a little basic but we enjoyed this slot; there always seems to be something going on such as the Lock ‘N’ Load and Dynamite features so we would recommend giving it a go.
