We’re big fans of Betsoft online slots and it’s always a pleasure to review one of these high quality games. Fruit Zen is the name of this particular one and it brings together two common themes – fruit and oriental – which results in a really high quality slots experience. It lacks some of the complexity of later Betsoft releases but that’s not always a bad thing – read on for the full review.
Fruit Zen is a five reel slot with three rows and up to ten paylines; the setting for this game is lovely and through the transparent reels there’s an enchanting view of the sea with waves lapping gently against the rocks and there’s even a red crab enjoying the view of the setting sun.
There are seven symbols and they’re all related to the theme – oranges, lemons, grapes, watermelons, plums, raspberries and cherries. In Fruit Zen, winning combinations can be formed from right to left as well as left to right.

Fruit Zen is a little simpler than some other Betsoft slots but it’s just as good in terms of gameplay and design; it looks great, has an appropriate soundtrack and we can certainly recommend it.
