Depending on when you’re reading this review it may or may not be the time of year when we all decide to scare our pets by lighting fireworks; however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t play a firework-themed online slot and that’s exactly what we’ve got here. Fireworks is a five reel slot with three rows and just ten fixed paylines; the design differs from many Realistic slots in that it doesn’t look realistic but it does look colourful with lots of bright symbols set against a backdrop of silhouetted buildings at night and exploding fireworks in the dark sky.
There’s a reasonably random bunch of symbols including pink sevens, gold bars, piles of cash and gems – white, red. blue and purple. The rocket is the highest paying symbol and worth 5000x your line stake for five on an active payline. Winning combinations have to be on an active payline but they don’t have to start from the left hand side.
There are no special symbols here, no wilds, scatters, nothing; however don’t give up just yet, there’s still a bonus feature to check out.

Firework Feature
Every time you spin the reels you will notice that there’s a lit fuse underneath; ideally you want this burning fuse to make it all the way to the right hand side and light the firework but the only to do this is to land each reel with matching symbols. For example all the symbols in reel one match, all the symbols in reel two match and so on.
If it does happen then the feature starts and you need to press the button to pick a reel randomly; this reel will contain matching symbols. All other reels will then respin and each will contain at least one of that symbol for a guaranteed win.
Verdict
Fireworks is actually a pretty basic game but it’s colourful and cheerful enough to check out – perhaps not for too long though. The feature is reasonably easy to trigger and can be a decent winner and the game comes with an RTP of 95.15%.
