We’ve seen a few fish-themed online slots come and go over the years but when one drops out of sight, another one soon steps in to fill that gap. This one’s called Double Bubble, it’s from Realistic Games and it’s important to note that you can only play it on a mobile device – it’s not available on the website. Read on to find out more about this underwater adventure.
Double Bubble features five reels and twenty fixed paylines and like most Realistic Games slots, the game is designed to replicate a physical machine inside a casino. Various bits of coloured coral form the backdrop to the reels.
There are just three main symbols – a glowing blue seahorse, a red pufferfish and a purple and yellow tropical chap. 10, J, Q, K and A make up the lower values.
Special symbols include a wonky gold coin which represents the scatter and a shark wild which substitutes for all symbols except the coin. The shark is also the most valuable symbol and worth 10000x your stake for five on an active payline.
Bonus Features
Free Spins
The gold coin scatter symbol is the key here and landing three, four or five of these anywhere in view will reward you with ten free spins. You will see the total feature win in the ‘Total Win’ box and any time you see the Double Bubble symbol appear on the centre reel that total will be doubled.
The possibility of doubling up means there is a maximum total win during this feature which is 500x your total stake. If you have any free spins left over when that total is reached they will be discarded.
Landing more coins during this round will not trigger any more spins but you will win the appropriate scatter payout.
Verdict
Realistic Games slots are generally quite basic but they always look nice and they play very smoothly. This is well worth checking if only for the bouncy music which accompanies the gameplay.
