Cubes starts out as a 5 x 5 cube consisting of squares of six different colours; they’ll all spin round while you hope that a cluster of at least five colours connected horizontally and/or vertically land. If this happens another ring of squares will be added around the outside to turn the cube into 7 x 7, 9 x 9 and finally 11 x 11 as long as more clusters are created or added to. After there are no more clusters or you’re reached the maximum cube size the payout will be made and the cube will revert to 5 x 5.
The six squares come in green, yellow, red, light blue, dark blue and purple; there are no wild or special symbols in Cubes.
Cubes Bonus Features
Middle Multiplier
There’ll always be a multiplier value on the middle square and this multiplier will be active if that square is part of a winning cluster; the multiplier will be equal to the number of squares in that cluster and it will increase to a maximum of 22x if that cluster increases in size.
Free Spins
The free spins feature is activated by creating five clusters of different colours during regular gameplay; one colour will now be selected at random and you’ll receive ten free spins. During this round any clusters created with that selected colour will stick in place for the whole round and in addition the size of the cube will not shrink at all after expanding.
