Cool Buck is a five reel slot with three rows and ten fixed paylines; the design is quite basic and reminiscent of the first game with the symbols spinning on a black background within a green frame.
There are three theme-related symbols and these are the golden dollar sign, some stacks of cash and a triple green bar; lower values are the standard 9, 10, J, Q, K and A.

There are two ways to trigger the free spins round in Cool Buck:
- Land three or more of the Cool Buck scatter symbols anywhere in view.
- Collect thirty or more of the pink stars which can be attached to any of the lower value symbols. The total you have so far is noted in top right hand corner.
If the spins are triggered using the method then you’ll receive the number of spins that have been collected so far; method two will always award thirty spins. Either way, all wins are subject to a 2x multiplier.
It’s not possible to trigger any more spins from within this round and the collected spins will reset to five when you’re back in the base game.
Verdict
This Cool Buck five reel slot is a nice addition to Microgaming’s line up and there’s certainly some money to be won when you trigger the free spins round. It’s looks are a little basic though and it comes with an RTP of 95.29%.
