Let’s take a trip down to the farmyard to check out this colourful online slot from Rival Gaming. It’s called Chicken Little and it comprises just three reels which means you will find no bonus features here and very little in the way of add-ons. We’ve played lots of farming-themed games in the past – enough in fact to have picked our top five which you can see by clicking here – so read on to find out more.
Chicken Little plays out over three reels and just the one payline and those large reels are placed in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Above the reels there’s a cartoon picture of a duck, a chicken and a chick running as if they are in some peril – perhaps from a hungry hunter.
The symbols too are all cartoonish in their design and include single, double and triple coloured bars, acorns, chickens, ducks and chicks. That little yellow chick also acts as the wild icon and will pay 2x the win amount if it contributes to a winning combination.
The smallest wins can be gained by landing a combination of any three bars on the payline for which you will receive 2x your stake. The biggest payout of 4000x your stake is earned by landing three wilds on the payline.
How It Works
The first thing to do is select your coin size by using the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ signs; this is your basic bet amount and you can then adjust this further by opting to use one, two or three coins. This doubles or triples your bet and does the same thing to the potential wins.
The one exception is the jackpot payout; playing with three coins will mean a possible win of 4000x your stake, double the payout for two coins so there’s an incentive there to maximise your coin selection.
Verdict
Rival does these three reels slots really well and this is another good example of how to design an engaging classic game. It’s fun and it’s certainly worth checking out.
