Butterflies is yet another game which anthropomorphises small creatures and gives them friendly faces which they perhaps do not deserve.
Butterflies is a five reel and twenty payline slot; the reels are set against a fantasy meadow scene with plenty of brightly coloured flowers on a carpet of green grass. Blue skies and fluffy clouds look down on this idyllic setting.
The usual 10, J, Q, K and A make up the lower value symbols and then we have some nicely drawn theme-related items which are worth more. These are a mushroom, a caterpillar and then two butterflies. Those two butterflies only require two in a combo to win a prize.
The pink flower is a scatter symbol which pays out without being on an active payline and the wild is the butterflies home which also activates the main feature.

Wild Butterfly Feature
This is the game’s only feature and it’s part of the base game; the wild symbol appears only on reel one and if it does it will begin to glow. A butterfly will emerge from it’s home and flutter across the reels, landing on a number of symbols, some of which it will turn into more wilds. The reels will then be re-evaluated with those new wilds in place.
Gamble Feature
If you’d like to gamble that last win then press the ‘Gamble ‘ button below the reels when it’s available. You will now get the chance to gamble that win on the turn of a playing card. Verdict
This is a strangely addictive game and that’s probably to do with the soothing graphics and nice animations. It’s enjoyable enough but maybe not for too long.
