The addition of pirates to an online slot machine can only be a good thing so we’re pleased to bring you this review of Buccaneer’s Bay, a game developed by Side City Studios themed on the thievery which took place in the Caribbean some four hundred years ago – read on to find out more, me hearties!
Buccaneer”s Bay is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty five fixed paylines; there’s a pale blue rim to those reels which sit against a backdrop of palm-fringed shores and crystal clear waters – a scene which hides the endemic tropical diseases and short lifespans of the time.
All the symbols are related to the theme and include three pirates, the pirate ship, a map on which ‘X’ marks the spot, a telescope, a ship’s wheel, a compass and a skull with crossed swords.
The wild is an arrangement of cogs behind a large ‘Wild’ and it will substitute for all others to help form winning matches except for the treasure chest scatter symbol.
