Is it time to take a break from the spinning reels? Have you been on a losing run that’s threatening to spoil your day? If so how about switching over to an arcade-style slot for something a little different.
Playtech‘s Spin A Win is a worthy attempt to to combine several elements into one colourful game so if we deconstruct it we can see Roulette, Wheel of Fortune and and a Hi/Lo aspect also.
How It Works
When you are first presented with the screen you will see the coloured wheel containing 24 numbers in the centre underneath the Spin A Win logo; on the left hand side are the single number on which you can place your bets. Below that chart you can see three betting options, 1 – 8, 9 – 16 and 17 – 24.
On the right of the screen there’s an option to bet on a colour or a combination of colours and you can see from the wheel that different segments are blue, yellow, orange, red or green. Underneath this chart is the option to choose whether the number will finish with 1, 2, 3 or 4; you can pick more than one choice in this section.
Inside the wheel you will see options to bet on an odd/even result or higher/lower outcome. The higher/lower option is interesting in that the odds change dynamically depending on the previous result. For example if you spin a high number such as 20 it’s clearly easier to spin a lower number next and in this case you would receive 5.8x your stake for successfully choosing higher or just 1.2x for lower.
How To Bet
All you need to do to place a bet is click on the box of your choice; the lowest possible bet amount is €0.10 and each time you click the same position that will increase by your stake amount.
When you’re happy with your betting positions just click the big green ‘Spin’ button, watch the wheel spin and hope for a positive result. If you’d like to speed things up you can disable the spin in the options menu and the the outcomes are instantaneous.
