The Emerald Isle has been the inspiration for many online slot machines we’ve reviewed in the past but there’s always room for one more so here we have Book of the Irish – it’s developed by Inspired Gaming and it offers players a free spins round complete with expanding symbols.
Book of the Irish is a five reel slot with three rows and ten fixed paylines; those reels spin within a stone frame which rests in a grassy meadow, the backdrop of which is formed by green fields which stretch into the sunny distance.
There are some familiar high value symbols which include the leprechaun, a pot of gold, a mushroom and the leprechaun’s green boot; 10, J, Q, K and A represent the lower values.
The glowing green book is both the wild and bonus symbol and it will substitute for all others to help form winning combinations – it appears on all reels in the base game and free spins round.

Verdict
Book of the Irish is a smooth, playable slot with a traditional Irish soundtrack to accompany your gameplay; we’re not always big fans of gamble features in slot machines but this one adds a bit extra with the free spins offer.
