Rainbow Riches Leapin’ Leprechauns is a game in which you must leap from platform to platform, collecting power-ups and prizes along the way while trying to avoid the objects which will end your game. As you can see from the screenshot above there’s a leprechaun on the left hand side contemplating the moving platforms which hover high above a sunny Irish landscape of fields and distant mountains.
How It Works
Each go buys you five jumps on to a higher platform; no timing is necessary – you just need to press the jump button to reach the next platform. The Autoplay button will do all this for you if your clicking finger is getting tired.
Each platform will contain nothing or a power-up, a cash prize or an object which will end your game:
Power Ups
- Heart – lasts for two jumps and will negate any obstacles.
- Horseshoe – lasts for three jumps and will negate any obstacles.
- Magic Hat – the last resort after other power-ups have been used – squashes one obstacle.
- Balloon – soars into the air to find a cash prize which will multiplied by 2x, 3x or 5x.
Cash Prizes
Rainbows, pots of gold, coins and four leaf clovers all award 0.5x to 100x the total stake.
Obstacles
These all end the game unless squashed by a power-up – black cat, cracked mirror, number 13, snake and the cracked platform.
After five successful jumps you can opt to continue and try for a better prize or collect your winnings. Every five jumps awards a bonus of 0.5x the total stake.
