Vikings Of Fortune is a five reel slot with three rows and twenty fixed paylines; those ornate golden reels spin against a dramatic backdrop of snow-covered mountains, trees and lakes.
The base game symbols are all related to the theme and include three fierce-looking vikings, a longship, a shield, an axe, crossed swords, a helmet and a war horn.
The sword handle is the wild symbol and it will substitute for all others except the gold Bonus icon. There’s also the Thunder Streak Wild symbol which is explained in more detail below.
Bonus Features
Thunder Streak
If the Thunder Streak Wild symbol lands on reel three it will expand to cover all positions on that reel; the reels will then respin with any winning combos frozen in place. The spins will continue until no more symbols are added to that combo at which point the payout is evaluated and the bonus ends.
Bonus Thunder
This is triggered by landing three or four of the Bonus symbols anywhere in view; the reels will now continue to spin with those symbols frozen in place as long as more are added. When no more are added that number will determine how many Thunderspins are awarded:
- 5 to 7 – 10 Thunderspins
- 8 to 10 – 12 Thunderspins
- 11 to 12 – 15 Thunderspins
- 13 to 15 – 20 Thunderspins
On each Thunderspin the centre reel is completely wild and each winning combo which lands will kick off the Thunder Streak feature – you can see this in the video above.
