Hot Streak Blackjack’s extra feature is an extra bet which ‘rides’ on to the next hand as long as you keep winning; each extra win increases the multiplier for that extra bet.
How To Play Hot Streak Blackjack
This is essentially a traditional version of Blackjack with the ability to place that extra bet so it all plays out in the normal way. It looks a bit more colourful than some versions we’ve played but the basic rules remain the same so if you just want to play the standard version it plays out like this following the deal:
- Hit – take another card
- Stand – stick with what you’ve got
- Double – double your stake and receive one more card but only if your cards total 10 or 11
- Split – split the cards if they have the same value and play both as individual hands
- Buy Insurance – if the dealer has an A you will be offered insurance against a potential blackjack; it costs half your bet value and will pay 2/1 if a blackjack is revealed
Hot Streak Bonus
This is the interesting extra option and if you’d like to try it just place a bet on the ‘Hot Streak Bonus’. If you lose the next hand you also lose this stake but if you win it will ‘ride’ and increase as follows:
- First Win – bet rides
- Second Win – pays 1.4x
- Third Win – pays 3x
- Fourth Win – pays 6x
If you win beyond the fourth hand the multiplier remains at 6x.
Note that if you choose to split a hand and win both you will still only progress one place along the streak; additionally a ‘Push’ will retain your place on the streak.
Verdict
Hot Streak Blackjack is an entertaining version of this casino standard and it’s very easy to understand. Using basic Blackjack strategy it provides an RTP of 99.81% which is almost identical to standard Blackjack.
