We always enjoy a trip back in time to visit our Aztec friends – the ancient inhabitants of northern Mexico who left behind as much mystery as culture. Aztec Secrets is a online slot from 1×2 Gaming which squeezes plenty of Aztec design and an imaginative bonus game into good-looking package.
Aztec Secrets is a five reel slot with three rows and up to twenty five paylines; bones, bamboo and Aztec architecture frame the reels and the backdrop contains several layers of pastel blue with pyramids and tropical trees just about visible in the haze.
There are five high value symbols and these comprise a range of Aztec icons which are a little difficult to describe; click the ‘Game Two’ tab at the top of the screen to see them all. J, Q, K and A represent the lower values.

This is probably the most interesting feature and it’s triggered by landing three or more of the bonus symbols anywhere in view. If you also land them on an active payline you will win a combo prize.
You will now be taken to a screen featuring some rows of stones and a large stone mask in the distance (see Game Three above); just pick stones and hopefully the mask will disgorge some gold coins into the basket in front. The round will eventually finish and your prize will be totalled.

Three or more of the blue mask scatter symbols anywhere in view will trigger a number of free spins; unfortunately you can’t re-trigger more spins from within this round but all prizes won will be subject to a 2x multiplier.
