Liverpool is a city undergoing some considerable renovation and improvement and long gone are the grim days of the 1980s when the population dwindled to faintly alarming levels. This is the home of globally famous musicians and football clubs and it’s slowly returning to a more prominent place in the north west. It also has some seriously good casinos.
Genting Club Queen Square/Genting Casino Renshaw Street
Genting Casino has two locations in the city, one near the centre on Queen Square and the other just to south where Lime Street becomes Renshaw Street.
If you’re familiar with other Genting casino you will know that they have a decent choice for slots fans including multi game cabinets from IGT, Novomatic and Spielo. This increases the number of games available dramatically but of course you are still limited by the number of cabinets. Progressives jackpots are also available.
Both locations have separate restaurants and bars and both offer a similar selection of table games such as roulette, blackjack and baccarat.
Late night gamblers may prefer the Renshaw Street location which is open 24/7 while Queen Square is open from noon until 6am every day.
Although not quite in Liverpool, there’s a third Genting at Oxton Road on The Wirral which opens from noon until 6am every day.

Grosvenor Casino
The Grosvenor definitely occupies the best location on Queen’s Dock which is adjacent to the famous Albert Dock. Whatever you’re doing here, be it eating, drinking or gaming, there’s a fantastic view available out over the water.
Slots available here are multi-game cabinets from Novomatic, IGT and WMS Gaming and progressive jackpots are also on show. The dining is well with chekcing out here with bar snacks and a full restaurant menu available and because of the view, it’s even worth coming just for a meal.
The Grosvenor is open from noon until 7am and it’s worth noting that it’s also known as the Leo Casino.
