If you ever find yourself on Norfolk’s east coast and in need of some gaming action then the good news is that you are probably not far from Great Yarmouth. The fortunes of Yarmouth have risen and fallen over the years but it remains a draw for millions of tourists every year who come for the beaches during the summer days and the various entertainment opportunities on offer at night, not least the casinos.
Grosvenor Casino Great Yarmouth

The Grosvenor Casino is located in one of Yarmouth’s most notable buildings – Shadingfield Lodge. It’s a large Victorian building on Marine Parade which welcomed royal visits towards the end of the 19th century but which now hosts entertainment and visitors of a different kind.
This is a venue which is worth visiting for it’s dining opportunities as much as it’s gaming activities but we’re here for the slots and like other Grosvenor venues there are WMS Gaming, Novomatic and IGT machines here along with multigame cabinets. Games include favourites such as Cleopatra and Lucky Lady’s Charm.
Poker is big here with regular tournaments and cash games but there’s also roulette to keep you busy. Live sports on telly and a bar complete the list of what’s on offer here. It’s open from midday until 6am 7 days a week.

Unfortunately the Grosvenor is the only casino left in Yarmouth following the closure of the Genting-owned Mint Casino in 2012 but it’s well worth a visit if your in town for any length of time.
