Inspired Gaming is a UK-based company specialising in SBG products and, as their website states, they are the world’s leading supplier of this technology. For those uninterested in industry minutiae, SBG stands for ‘server based gaming’ and it describes the method by which gaming systems such as lotteries and slots are controlled from a central software location. It refers to both online and offline games.
Now that explanations are out of the way we can explain a little more about Inspired Gaming. This is clearly a company with a significant history although it’s difficult to find much information before 2007. What is clear is that on the 1st July 2010 the company was acquired and refinanced by a private equity fund called Vitruvian Partners based in London.
This takeover injected plenty of cash into the business and allowed the company to begin to expand more aggressively beyond it’s traditional UK and Italian markets.
Virtual Sports is a big part of Inspired Gaming’s portfolio of products and you can read more about this impressive software by clicking here. It’s available at a umber of major casinos but we place the occasional wager at Bet Victor.
Inspired Gaming does not have a vast library of online slots under it’s belt but the sixteen or so available are designed in High Definition. Check out our review of Monster Cash by clicking the list below to see the high quality for yourself.
The SBG technology which allows the software to be distributed and configured remotely also allows the casino operator to set the variables such as the RTP and the maximum stake themselves. This means it’s entirely possible you could find a different RTP playing the same game at different online casinos.
