Casino Tropez Review

*Please note – Casino Tropez no longer accepts UK customers*

The first thing to say about Casino Tropez is that is has the weight of history behind it; it was established as long ago as 2001 and although there are a handful of online casinos which can claim a longer lineage, an operational life of thirteen years and counting points to a website that is doing something correctly.

Global Interest Gaming Ltd are the company which runs Casino Tropez and that organisation runs a number of other successful virtual casino from it’s registered headquarters in the Caribbean, meaning that it’s registered as a gaming entity under the Directorate of Offshore Gaming of Antigua and Barbuda.

Software

Whenever Playtech is involved in providing casino software you know you’re in safe hands and that’s the case here;  Playtech provides the majority of the software in use at Casino Tropez and you can be sure the games will feature state of the art graphics combined with creativity, especially as far as the all-important slots are concerned.

The casino features a couple of hundred top class online slots amongst a total of more than 350 casino games including poker, blackjack, craps and various types of roulette.  You can download the desktop version to your PC or use the instant play option if you’d prefer.

Player Rewards

There’s a potential $3000 bonus up for grabs for new players and this can be accomplished by doing the following: deposit up to $100 and that will earn a 100% bonus.  Next, any deposits you make on the same day up to $1000 are eligible for a 50% refund. Your second deposit will also accrue a 50% bonus up to $200.  Now, if you deposit $100 each Sunday for the next 27 weeks, you will receive 100% bonus one each occasion. That all adds up to a possible $3000 in new player bonuses.

Depositing via the mobile app will get you a 115% bonus up to $100.

A range of ongoing bonuses are also always available to keep current players coming back for me and there’s a decent loyalty reward system called ‘Club Tropez’.  It essentially rewards the player for staking money – the more you bet the more points you can collect which can be converted into cash in your account.

User Experience

The user experience at Casino Tropez is certainly good but not quite our cup of tea when compared to some other sites.  However this site has been going a very long time so its hard to criticise something so successful.

Everything is certainly easily available for the user and the sign up procedure is a doddle on the desktop site or the mobile site.  The good news for mobile users is that the software is available for Apple and Android devices.

Customer Support and Security

The few times we have had cause to contact customer support the turnaround time has been very fast and everything has been sorted satisfactorily.  Thankfully the website features a ‘Live Chat’ feature which, for us anyway, is important because it usually provides an instant resolution and you know you’re communicating with a real person in real time.

Like all good online casinos, Tropez is regulated and tested by the appropriate authorities on a regular basis to ensure that the software it uses is as robust and secure as possible.

Wagering Requirements

All bonuses are subject to a wagering requirement which is standard policy at all online casinos. This means that you can’t just withdraw the bonus, you must wager that amount a certain number of times first. The list below shows Casino Tropez’s various wagering requirements.

  • First Deposit – deposit plus bonus x25
  • Second Deposit – deposit plus bonus x25
  • Sunday Bonus – deposit plus bonus x25
  • High Roller First Deposit – deposit plus bonus x20
  • Deposit Method – deposit plus bonus x20

I love the atmosphere at Casino Tropez, it’s not quite like being at a real venue but it’s not far off. I’m not a high roller but I took advantage of the lower level bonuses when I signed up. As a slots fan, there’s a great range of Playtech games available here.” – Cecilia M, Ledbury
